About Us
What is Smart Wheels Driving Academy?
Smart Wheels Driving Academy was established for the purpose of providing quality teen and adult driver training to community members the southern sector of Dallas County.
Driving is a crucial life skill that comes with great risks.
Our driver education classes focus on responsible driving, while managing risks and building confidence behind-the-wheel.
We teach the mechanics of safe driving that allows your child to become a confident and defensive driver.
Our commitment to the community is to help our students establish good, safe and responsible driving habits, in our friendly safe educational environment.

Requirements
- A willingness to learn and drive by the rules
- Students must be 15 years of age or older
- Abide by all safety rules and instructions
Class Info
- Classes are sixteen days long with flexible options
- January thru May we host two evening classes
- June thru August we host four classes throughout the day

Teen Drivers Ed includes behind the wheel instruction

- 32 hours of classroom instruction 2 hours each day for 16 days
- 7 In-car driving lessons (14-hours total)
- Each lesson is 2 hours long (1 hour driving and 1 hour of backseat observation) $525.00
- Permit Test Included
YOUNG ADULT ON-LINE SELF-PACE COURSE (6 HOURS)
$125
- This course is designed for young adults, 18 to 24 years of age; however, any adult, 25 and older, can take this course.
- You can only complete 2 hours of the on-line class each day. Permit Test included $125.00
TEEN DRIVING LESSONS (14 HOURS) Only
$420

- Practice driving test included $420.00

Road Test

Teen Class Room Only

Defensive Driving $50

- DEFENSIVE DRIVING ONLINE COURSE (6 HOURS)
- driver education. This quick and easy online program will satisfy state and or insurance requirements.
